| Amplify Austin Day — which claims to be the largest giving event in Central Texas — is here! Starting at 6 p.m. on March 5, Austinities can choose from over 750 nonprofits to support and give back to the people and groups that make up the city. Organized by the I Live Here I Give Here! nonprofit, Amplify Austin Day has raised $112.7 million since 2013 for over 1,500 nonprofits. This year, they’re aiming for $10 million! Want to be a part of this 24-hour event? Here’s how to contribute: | | Find a Nonprofit | You can choose from over 750 nonprofits across seven central Texas counties. From environmental activism to the arts, to racial equity to veterans, find an organization whose work you want to support. | | If you know the name of the nonprofit you want to support, you can search for their name here. If you haven’t identified a nonprofit yet but want to support a specific cause or need, you can select a category and search for the right fit on the Amplify ATX website. | |  | You can improve your community all through your phone! | Donate or Fundraise | Once you find the organizations you want to support, consider making a gift donation of $5 or more. If you’re unsure how your money will be used, many of the organizations will specify how a specific cash amount will help fund their work.
