Travis County Declares Disaster Over Screwworm

Travis County Judge Andy Brown issued a disaster declaration for the area as New World screwworm cases rise in Texas. Gillespie County, which is 80 miles away, is the closest area to Travis County with a screwworm case. [Austin American-Statesman]
