Hi, How Are You Day is next week and if you only know that phrase as it relates to the famous Jeremiah the Innocent frog mural near The University of Texas at Austin campus, we’re here to help.

The day is put on by Hi, How Are You Project, a non-profit, to raise awareness about the importance of mental wellbeing and doubles as a celebration of music and community. The organization was inspired by the frog mural, which was painted by Daniel Johnston. Johnston, who died in 2019, was an artist and songwriter who battled mental illness during his life.
